Very Ornate Chippendale Style

Our sensational book case is titled breakfront which describes a structure where the central section projects beyond the sections to either side. It is influenced by Thomas Chippendale who began his career as a humble cabinet maker and became the best known name in the history of English furniture design. Our bookcase reflects his style in the extensive and exquisite carving, the use of solid wood and our choice of Mahogany emphasising its dramatic natural grain

Most of our furniture can be made in Mahogany, Walnut, Burr Walnut, Pollard Oak, Rosewood, Yew Oyster and Walnut Oyster and only British hardwood is used. We stock an extensive selection of exotic veneers for special commissions.

Due to natural fluctuations in wood grain and colour the final finish may vary. Exact matches cannot be guaranteed, however our skilled polishers do achieve a very close match to customer requirements.

Our workshops are open seven days a week but please make an appointment so a member of staff is available for your enquiries.
