Art Deco Console Table

A Console Table is one designed to be fixed to or set against a wall. They first appeared in Italy in the seventeenth century and took their name from their decorative curved legs which resembled consoles. They were designed,as with our example, to be topped by mirrors. Our Console Table is made in the Art Deco Style which is characterised by bold geometric shapes and lavishly decorative woods

Most of our furniture can be made in Mahogany, Walnut, Burr Walnut, Pollard Oak, Rosewood, Yew Oyster and Walnut Oyster and only British hardwood is used. We stock an extensive selection of exotic veneers for special commissions.

Due to natural fluctuations in wood grain and colour the final finish may vary. Exact matches cannot be guaranteed, however our skilled polishers do achieve a very close match to customer requirements.
